Gabriela Helfet from Consensys, the company that makes MetaMask, said, “You can now trade on what will happen in the real world inside your wallet.” She went on to say that every prediction gets MetaMask Rewards points.

Prediction markets are doing very well. Polymarket had a lot of activity during the 2024 US elections because leaders like Donald Trump supported cryptocurrencies. The platform is coming back to the US market and could be worth $15 billion soon. Intercontinental Exchange, which owns the New York Stock Exchange, even gave it $2 billion.

In total, these markets have done $13 billion in business. Competitors like Kalshi, which has support from well-known companies like Coinbase, are also growing quickly. Kalshi worked with CNN and got money at a value of $11 billion.
